My Project

Extension cords with surge protectors are urgently needed in my science classrooms. The batteries on student devices start to run low at the end of the day. This leads to a loss of instructional time as I must rearrange student seating at the beginning of class to put students in need of a charge near one of the outlets.

The goal is to begin each class period quickly and efficiently to make the most of our instructional time.

In addition to extension cords, I have included ink cartridges for the classroom printer and correction tape for when we are working on projects. Other items are replacements for materials needed in our science laboratory.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
