My Students

As a teacher in an overcrowded school holding twice its occupancy, our teachers face material shortages. Students are constantly having to wait to use equipment because we are unable to secure our equipment so that it is not taken. I am looking at giving our students new materials to help them in their physical education experience. Our students are hardworking, dedicated, and love physical education and the variety it brings. Everyday they come into the gymnasium excited to learn and always asking what sport/fundamental we are covering next.

My Project

The equipment I am requesting would help our school and students save money in the long run. We are constantly replacing equipment because we are unable to secure it while not in use therefore the jump rope holder and basketball cage will help us keep our ropes as well as basketballs secure. We have been using our coaches and teacher's offices to store equipment which displaces those needing to use their office at times.

Students are in need of secure equipment so that items do not go missing.

We would be able to save money not replacing missing items and be able to afford other items we would like to purchase. We are looking to get a rolling cage in order to lock up our basketballs which are a popular item to go missing first. We would also like to organize our jump ropes so that we are able to keep track of their location as well as not have to spend a lot of time untangling them if they are properly stored. Another item that we are in need of is an air pump for our basketballs as ours is old and the tube is held on with tape.
