I get the opportunity to surround myself with a diverse population of students. Each day, I learn something new from their curiosity and their willingness to open their minds and themselves to new information and to new experiences. We enjoy open discussion about the future of our school, the dire need for new technology, and need to find new ways to expand their ability to be engaged within the classroom setting. Many of our students have expressed a wanting to know how they can stay healthy and how they might reduce their risks of illnesses or disease as individuals and as a part of the next generation of young adults entering into adulthood. Further, these students want to know how to progress with this new instruction and awareness in order to stay healthy throughout their lives.
