My students are at the age where learning the value of collaboration and teamwork is so important!
I want to do all I can to facilitate lifelong partnership skills.
Providing materials for my students to complete group tasks and to encourage effective cooperation is a dream! I want them to crave the chance to share what we are learning. Not only will they see the greatness of their combined education, but they will become serious, active learners and excited future leaders.
This all directly extends to the values and skills learned when playing outside games. We build teamwork in the FUN activities so that our skills are ready to approach classroom challenges.
My Project
We all know that our world has become technology-based. However, we are seeing that teamwork and collaboration skills are dwindling.
Let's make sure to invest in these skills too!
The best way is to go back to the basics. Provide the time and equipment to encourage play and problem-solving.
Our school has had its playground removed because of extensive damage due to old-age. Currently, our students only have a basketball court and an empty field to play in. We desperately need this outside equipment.
Ask any teacher and we will attest to the importance of consistent outside play in a child's development. Please help me provide this for the future leaders!
