Studies show that students in low-income areas have less access to high-quality programs. We are going to change this. As a child, I knew when teachers loved coming to work each day and I loved being a part of their world for those few hours of the day. I felt cared for and cared about. I had an immense desire to rise to their expectations. So this is where you come in. We really need materials that can be used in multiple ways to reach our highest and lowest performers. We need hands-on and engaging materials. We are there for THEM.
