Through these materials, students can work on letter recognition, letter sounds, building words, recognizing sight words, and developing early reading and comprehension skills.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading looks like a combination of whole-group lessons, small-group instruction, independent practice, and hands-on literacy centers. Students learn through engaging activities that allow them to explore letters, sounds, and words while building confidence as early readers. These centers also encourage independence, problem-solving, and collaboration with classmates.\r\n\r\nThese resources are especially meaningful for students who benefit from hands-on learning and extra opportunities to practice foundational literacy skills. They allow me to provide activities that meet students at different learning levels and make learning fun and engaging. Although I needed to substitute some of the originally planned materials with alternative literacy center supplies due to availability, I am grateful that these resources will still support my students' growth and love of learning.
