My Project

Next year, I will be transitioning to kindergarten! I am excited to create a classroom environment where my students can learn through hands-on exploration, play, and discovery. Kindergarten students learn best when they are actively engaged, and I want to provide accessible, interactive materials that support a wide range of learning styles and developmental needs. My students are naturally curious and full of excitement about animals, nature, and imaginative play.

These animal-themed learning materials will help make play-based learning meaningful and accessible for all students in my classroom.

The animal collections will support vocabulary development, science exploration, storytelling, and sorting activities while giving students opportunities to engage in tactile, hands-on learning. The animal puzzle sets will help strengthen problem-solving, fine motor skills, and cooperative learning during centers and small group instruction. The animal adventure carpet will create an inviting space for imaginative play, social interaction, and collaborative learning experiences that are essential in kindergarten.

My goal for this project is to build a welcoming classroom filled with engaging resources that encourage curiosity, confidence, and creativity. Many kindergarten students enter school with different levels of readiness, so having accessible tools that support exploration and play-based learning is incredibly important. My students are enthusiastic, imaginative, and eager to learn, and these materials will help create a classroom where every child feels included, supported, and excited to learn every day.
