Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Yearbook students are building more than a book — they are building school culture, learning real-world media skills, and creating lasting memories for our campus community. To help launch our program successfully, we are seeking classroom basics and creative tools that will allow students to stay organized, collaborate professionally, and produce engaging content throughout the year.

The centerpiece of this project is a Photo Booth printer setup that will allow students to create a fun and interactive photo experience at school events.

This project will provide essential supplies such as lanyards for student identification at events, poster-making materials for school promotions, organizational tools to help students manage deadlines and assignments, and motivational SWAG that helps students feel connected and proud of their work.

Students will use DSLR photography equipment and instant printing technology to provide keepsake photos during dances, rallies, and campus activities. This hands-on experience gives students opportunities to practice photography, marketing, event management, customer service, and teamwork in an authentic setting.

Not only will the photo booth help students gain valuable career-ready skills in media production and communications, but it also creates an opportunity for our Yearbook program to fundraise for future projects, equipment, and student opportunities.

With your support, our students will gain the tools they need to stay organized, inspired, creative, and connected while building a yearbook program that celebrates our entire school community.
