Help me give my students iPads so that the apps that are available to download will provide support, motivation, and creativity for my students with reading and writing learning disabilities.

My students are a great example of the growth mindset; they NEVER give up. There are many examples of when these kids have been counted out and not counted on because of the their demographic makeup. On a daily basis, I raise the bar, and the students in our room meet or exceed my expectations. I am so proud to know them and be their teacher. In fact, they don't know it, but they're teaching me. I have a new outlook for the future of America because they will be our leading adults; taking charge with not only a high-quality education, but with love, appreciation, and respect for all shape, sizes, and colors of the human rainbow.
Students are expected to engage in daily authentic reading and writing tasks, including journal writing, drafting/editing essays, and personal narratives. They are reading and writing two grade levels below their peers, and many have learning disabilities. The path to becoming independent readers and writers is an arduous task. Critical reading and thinking are important skills in today's society. I want my students to develop not only the skills, but also a passion for literature. There are several iPad apps that will support them on this journey with their motor, speech, hearing, and vision deficits.
The ultimate goal is for the students to use technology to communicate information in a variety of formats.
Our first project will use a program app called Photo Story to make movies, using music and highlights from their summer vacations, and then sharing them on Google Classroom.
