Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We would love your help in bringing a Puppet Theater to our community park.

There are endless benefits for puppet play amongst children and adults.

The social emotional developmental benefits, as well as the connections made with others, that are embraced through puppet play is exponential.

We would your love to help make our community feel good. We have many shelters in our community, as well as others going through tough times. We have a community park across the street from our school, as well as a community playground at the end of our school block. Our goal is to invite community members to join us for a Picnic and Puppet Show. Puppets and show performances give people a sense of belonging, togetherness and comfort.

Through this community outreach, we also hope to create a feeling of empathy and compassion for others in our students. Our hopes are that they continue helping those in need throughout their lives.

We cannot thank you enough for thinking of our class. Thank you so much for helping us connect with our community in the most positive of ways!
