Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students are from a low income school. Many can not afford to buy school pictures and/or holiday pictures. Because the students have special needs, they do not usually do well with photographers on picture day. Picture day is chaos with many people, noise and bright lights.
Help our students to take photos that show off their uniqueness in a surrounding they are comfortable in, with people they are comfortable with, with the time it takes to get GREAT photos so their families can also have pictures that are not taken at home with a phone!
These students are so proud when they see themselves in pictures on a phone. Imagine when they see pictures they can actually hold of themselves with fun backgrounds!
