This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

BTW Photography students are creative and passionate young people pursuing an arts education with limited resources. As a magnet program, we serve students all over the district but do not receive federal Title I funds. Please considering their continued education.

My Project

This funding request would support the purchase of needed photography supplies for both darkroom and digital photography which includes film, photo paper, camera bags, lens caps, memory cards, and photo printer ink.

My classroom offers students the unique opportunity to create and explore the world around them.

Students gain confidence by discussing and exhibiting their work throughout the year. Due to financial hardship, many families can not purchase these needed materials for my class. Any contribution would support my students and our program as we continue to create artwork. Thank you for your consideration.
