Philly Public School Boys Lacrosse Team Gearing-Up For Success

My students need gloves and sticks. Unlike other games lacrosse is played not simply with hands and feet but with a tool “the crosse” and gloves are a needed part of handling that tool as well.

My Students

Our Boys Lacrosse team is located in a public high school in Philly. They are dedicated and have a strong desire to grow in their sport. They come from many backgrounds and experience levels. Our focus on success relies on developing sportsmanship, athleticism, finesse, and camaraderie. Our program continues to be a competitive one and it is because our school has energetic students with grit. We are very diverse group united by sport and healthy competition. With your help we can equip ourselves and begin the season in 2018 ready to succeed.

My Project

They need well balanced sticks and gloves to practice with so that they are able to familiarize themselves with the tools of their sport. These are essentials. When athletes have their own stick and gloves it becomes an extension of them. These pieces of equipment will make the sport more personal to them.

With each new project our team becomes more whole.

We are a Title 1 school with amazing students who show a great deal of desire and resolve. We are constantly in preparation for the next season and looking like a team and practicing with the proper tools will give us an extra boost of confidence when we take the field.
