My Project
We are excited! LAUSD released our in-person return to hybrid learning, April 26th can't come soon enough! With students returning back to school I desperately need PPE materials for my students so that they can safely learn in our new hybrid setting. While materials are scarce, I want to ensure the safety and well-being of the students that I serve in my class. All materials will be used with, and for students, as they begin to acclimate, function, and learn in our new hybrid model.
I am SO ready to return back to a hybrid model, it has been over a year since I have taught inside the walls of a classroom!
While I have mastered the ins and outs of online learning, I need to prepare myself and my students for hybrid education.
The gloves will be used for students and teachers in class. This will ensure that all materials like technology, pencils, and paper are sanitized and clean for reuse. The sanitation wipes will be used daily to clean tables, technology, doorknobs, protective plastic shields, and supplies. The hand sanitizer will be used daily every time a student enters the classroom (after morning breakfast) and when they return from using the restroom. The protective face shield will be available for students that forget their masks or feel safer using a face shield in class. The plastic cubicle will be used by the teacher or adult supervising the children in the class.
