Personal Finance Breakout

My students need this Breakout EDU kit because it provides them with an alternative method for learning personal finance topics. The kit allows students to participate in a comprehensive review of the content.

My Students

As an elective teacher I have a diverse group of students with varying interests and backgrounds. Students range from age 14 to age 18 and take my class because they have an interest in personal finance.

While this is a common bond between my students they all have different experiences when it comes to finances.

Some students are very well versed and others this is their initial introduction, regardless they are looking for exposure to personal finance situations. Students are also at different stages in their life with some about to embark on their own while others are just begining to gain independence.

My Project

The Breakout EDU Kit provides students with an adventurous way of learning new content and reviewing previously taught material. Through clues and exploration students are asked to recall specifics relating to income and taxes, banking, budgets, insurance, and credit.

The kit encourages teamwork and problem solving.

The breakout can also be designed by students instead and they can be the creators and run fellow students through their own breakout. This process encourages creativity along with content mastery. Overall, the breakout kit is a great alternative to learning content and assessing student mastery when it comes to personal finance content curriculum.
