Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are learning to hold/write/use pencils. Having an easel for the table will help with small group visibility. Students are just learning to come to a table to have a lesson/work as a group, and having something we are all looking at, visible to all, will really be helpful.

I am learning what a short life pencils can have in an elementary classroom-- bitten, erasers plucked off, put back in a place where it's hard to find ever again.

So having a couple of boxes of fat pencils and a pencil sharpener will complete the small writing group picture. Thank you!
