My Students

My students are a very energetic and fun loving middle school band. They range from 6th-8th graders. We start band in middle school, so their musical journeys start with me. I am very privileged and honored to teach these kids every day. They are eager to learn and progress in their craft.

My Project

My kids need pencils everyday. They always seem to disappear or get broken. As a Title I school we try to provide our kids with everything they need. Pencils included.

Budding musicians always need a trusty pencil.

Among the many items that parents provide and donate to the classroom at the beginning of each year, pencils always seem to be the most scarce come January.

I tell my students everyday that they need a pencil. I make it a part of their daily check and grade. If I cannot provide it, I can't grade them for it.
