Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Physical education is such a critical part of developing young minds in junior high.

Having these items will ensure that we can engage the students in many different games and strategy-building skills.

Having the pinnies allows for us to develop teams; encouraging team building and teamwork. Having the balls allows us to play handball, spikeball, pickleball, hockey and many more games. Having storage is critical in keeping all these equipment items organized.

Often my students are asked to do an assignment and without traditional desks in the gym, it proves to be difficult and students often have to work on the floor. The mobile podiums will work wonders in allowing students to work around the perimeter of the gym to complete these assignments.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
