Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This upcoming school year, students will be completing several project-based learning activities as part of their social studies class. From using clay to practice cuneiform like they did in Mesopotamia, to using posters to share their learning of various Ancient Civilizations. We go through supplies really quickly due to the number of projects we do during the year, and the supplies in this project will help us make it to the end of the school year without needing to outsource to other places. I am also using this opportunity to restock our facial tissue and Clorox wipes, as we go through those during winter. It will also ensure that students who don't have the means to pay for their supplies already have them provided.
