Passion for Puzzles

Help me give my students a way to organize their latest passion: puzzles! I recently discovered that most my students have little experience doing jigsaw puzzles. These supplies will help organize our dozens of puzzles for easy use.

My Project

I have collected dozens of small puzzles over the years. My group of third graders this year are obsessed with puzzling. It was surprising that so many have little experience with jigsaw puzzles. These supplies will help organize my puzzle area and make the puzzles last for years. The zippered pouches can be used to replace the puzzle boxes that are falling apart. With limited space, students can use the trays to complete their puzzles and save them for completion throughout the day. The rolling cart will keep the puzzles organized and easily accessible to all the students.

Completing puzzles has a positive impact on my student's cooperation skills, collaboration, perseverance, and visual and spatial reasoning.

I love that it is a hands-on activity that gets their eyes off the computer screens. Students have told me how relaxing it is to puzzle. With my students experiencing more stress than ever, I am happy to introduce them to a new way to relax. With these supplies, I will be able to expand my puzzle library and support my students’ new passion.
