My Project

All students should have easy access to high interest books. The library at Palms needs updating. As a Magnet school, the students do read for fun and they should have access to the books they enjoy. It’s also a school that places emphasis on research. The donations from this project will directly benefit students who read for fun and for academic research. My goal is to make sure that the diverse student population of our school is represented here in the library, equitably. The students here at Palms are special because they represent the various communities, cultures, and economic backgrounds from across Los Angeles.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
