My students are a mix of general education students and students with mild/moderate disabilities. My general ed and special ed students work together in cooperative groupings, making my classes a picture perfect form of successful integration and collaboration.
My students are a mix of nationalities, gender, ability, cognitive levels and socioeconomic levels.
I have advanced students who are included with the general art students and they work well together to encourage each other.
Watching all of my students working together and watching their creativity unfold creates a unique learning environment for everyone.
My Project
The students who are in my advanced class are students who are seriously pursuing art for high school, college, and potential careers. These students in particular need to show their ability to master various medium, including painting with acrylic paint on canvas.
The acrylic paint will be used to create masterpieces that will be on display at various school and district showcases.
Having quality Sargent Art Acrylic Paint, as well as the proper paint brushes, will allow my advanced students the opportunity to greatly expand their portfolios. Having quality materials to produce amazing paintings will also encourage other students school wide to want to enter into the advanced art class.
