Help me give my students new hand-held whiteboard paddles so that they can show their understanding of different reading and math concepts.

My Project

I am requesting new hand-held paddle whiteboards for my students so that they can show their thinking to different questions that I ask during reading and math time. I will use the white board paddles in class to help engage all of my students in their learning. My students will be able to show their understanding of the math and reading concepts by writing their answer on the whiteboard paddle and holding it up for me to see when I call on them. Each student will be participating, and I will be able to assess immediately what my students do and do not understand. This process will allow me to adjust my instructions and lessons more directly. The amazing thing is that my students see this as a game and really like writing on the paddleboards. I can use paddleboards every day to see what they understand and what we need to review. By having these paddleboards, I can assure that each student is engaged with the lesson and actively participating in class.

It is incredible how a whiteboard paddle and a marker can get students more engaged in learning.

I really want to make a difference in my students lives by teaching them and giving them the best education possible. You can help too! I will use these boards every year to make sure that all of my students are engaged and learning.
