This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in need of outdoor equipment, especially for recess time! They need equipment that will keep them active and engaged. Having equipment like the ring toss, bean bag throw and the hopscotch rug set up when they go out to recess is an invitation to play and have fun.

Having purposeful activities keeps them active, busy and helps them make good choices out on the playground.

My students will be able to work on many skills. They will be able to work on balance, coordination, tossing and throwing.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
