My Students

Over 90% of our students at NPS are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch. The students who attend our school deserve the very best opportunity we can provide for them! While they come to school to learn, many also come to be loved and learn social and life skills to succeed as a student and a valuable member of the community. They are amazing little people, striving for greatness! These students are always very appreciative of​ what is given to them and love to give back in any way they possibly can! Our students simply deserve the best they can get!

My Project

Our nonfiction collection in our library is outdated and not k-2 student friendly, nor is it teacher friendly. With our updated curriculum, our nonfiction selection does not include books that are engaging to the students or that teachers can use as read-alouds, to support our school’s curriculum. With an updated, engaging collection that is aligned to our state standards, teachers will be able to teach from books within the school library and not have to look other places. These titles will also be available for students to check out and read.
