Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class needs a cool math center. So, we have decided to ask for a rug, erasable tablets, and ear muffs to get it started.

I want to create a welcoming area for my students to practice their math skills, one that is comfortable and allows then to focus.

The rug will provide a comfortable space for my children to sit the way they wish. This flexible seating arrangement will help them stay focused when paired with the earmuffs which will be used to block out noise. The earmuffs are especially helpful for my students with special needs.

Finally the erasable tablets will be used by students who have mastered their math skills and wish to jot down their computations using the latest technology instead of paper.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
