My Project

As the school year comes to a close my students will be creating memories that we will transform into a book. They will be using all types of markers, glue, stickers and will need help cleaning up. These supplies will help with our clean up and creating our final memory books.

Middle school the first year can be a challenge and this memory book will be proof that hard work paid off and learning was fun!

My students will listen to music as we celebrate our year together with memories that will last forever. They will design cards, posters, pictures and create a book that shows their best days in 6th grade. The goal is to show how they have improved from August until now!

This has been a special group of students because many of them came in way below grade level, shy and a feeling of I cannot read. But with motivation and perseverance many of them have shown great improvement. This memory book will display past writing, past quizzes and the new and improved handwriting and higher quiz scores! Many have taken pictures throughout the year and will include those in their memory book!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
