Student portfolios on classwork, projects and activities come alive. Using the digital camera, the magazines and previous materials students will design their very own portfolio that displays their outstanding work. I teach 6th grade Social Studies and 6th grade Science. There is no better way to let the students keep memories of projects, activities, and outstanding work than having them create their very own portfolio. Most students on are free or reduced lunch and they really work hard at producing above and beyond projects. I would love for them to design their very own portfolio to keep for the upcoming years to show how hard they worked. We are always doing projects in Social Studies and Science and this would be a great way for them to carry a piece of their 6th grade history with them.
