Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We would like more table-tennis supplies (tennis rackets and tennis nets) for our entire team. At any time, close to ten percent of our students are participating on the table-tennis club team.

Since the students are so enthusiastic about playing, our supplies are lovingly used.

Unfortunately, they wear out and we need to replace the worn or broken supplies that are beyond repair. Since only a few can be practicing at a time, if we run out of supplies, our team members may not be able to practice. That would be a shame since so many students are looking forward to coming to school partly because of the ping-pong competition at Hutchinson!

We are also looking to make sure we have replacement equipment ready to go. We hope to keep ping-pong growing as a team activity and be ready to compete against other teams.
