This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Fire tablets will allow students to apply block coding to complete tasks using Spheros and Dash robots. In order to be prepared with 21st-century skills, students need experiences where they can apply math and science concepts using a variety of digital tools. We are fortunate to have several different types of robots.

Unfortunately, our robots do not work with all of our Chrome devices at school.

Fire tablets are an affordable alternative to a set of iPads and would allow students to utilize these amazing robots to apply their understanding of coding.

These Fire tablets will also increase student learning by increasing student engagement. Students who are engaged are also less likely to have behavior problems and develop problem-solving skills to be successful in other areas.
