Our Classroom Café: Fueling Young Minds

Help me give my students the food, microwave, fridge, and supplies they need to make mealtimes in our classroom comfortable and welcoming.

My Project

My first graders spend so much of their day learning, growing, and challenging themselves. I want to create a small classroom café where students can access snacks and have a comfortable space to eat during our classroom meal times.

Because we eat in our classroom, a mini fridge and microwave would make it possible to safely store and warm food.

I would also love to provide nutritious, kid-friendly snacks for students who may need a little extra fuel throughout the school day.

For young learners, being hungry can make it difficult to focus, participate, and learn. Having snacks available in our classroom will help ensure that my students can spend less time worrying about being hungry and more time being engaged in learning.

This project will provide:

* A mini refrigerator for safely storing food and snacks

* A microwave for warming student meals

* Individually packaged classroom snacks

* Food storage containers and organization supplies

* Utensils and other mealtime necessities

Our classroom café will be more than just a place to eat. It will help create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels cared for, supported, and ready to learn.
