My Project

This project is to provide books for the incredible Otter Award program. The Otter Award program is an opportunity for students to share their opinions and develop their love for reading. The books in the Otter Award program have been picked out by librarians across Washington state and students get to read and vote on their favorites.

Our Multi-Age students (grades 1-3) are excited to begin reading the Otter Award books!

In fact, they are so excited that our team decided to buy more books to ensure more students are reading these great stories. These books will be read in three different classrooms and will be discussed heavily for the rest of this school year.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
