My Project

My classroom is a busy and active 2nd-grade learning space where students are constantly engaged in hands-on learning. We use many materials throughout the day, including scissors, glue, markers, pencils, erasers, and other supplies that support reading, writing, and math instruction.

Right now, keeping these materials organized and easily accessible can be a challenge.

When supplies are not well organized, valuable instructional time is spent searching for materials instead of focusing on teaching and learning.

This project will help create a more efficient and organized classroom through a storage cabinet and rolling carts. The storage cabinet will allow me to neatly store and categorize classroom materials so they are always easy to find and put away. The rolling cart next to my teaching area will allow me to keep frequently used supplies within reach during lessons, helping instruction run smoothly. A second rolling cart will be used for additional organization and storage in the classroom closet, helping keep our learning environment clean and structured.
