Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day in our fourth grade classroom, we're building habits that last a lifetime — and it all starts with the tools in our hands. My students use folders to keep their work organized across subjects, learning to sort, prioritize, and take responsibility for their materials. Our composition notebooks are where the real thinking happens: as we read, explore new topics in science and social studies, and work through math problems, students jot notes, sketch ideas, and track their own growth.

These notebooks become a daily anchor for learning.

Right now, many of my kids are sharing supplies or making do with worn-out materials. With your help, every student can have their own fresh folders and notebooks — simple tools that build confidence, independence, and organization skills that will serve them far beyond fourth grade.
