Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 25 enthusiastic learners that love learning! We are a Title I school in a low socioeconomic neighborhood with limited resources. 100% of our students receive free lunches. The majority of my students are English Language Learners with a lot of curiosity and great ideas. They come from hard-working families that have at least two jobs. My students need the right resources and tools to help them master the academic standards in all areas and become successful scholars. Many of my students lack the much needed resources to start the school year off right as well as necessary materials to complete assignments/projects at home.

My Project

My student need labels, badges and folders to start off the year and develop great organizational skills. In the beginning of the year, I provide badges for my students, for identification purposes. Labels are used to ensure that my students do not loose or mistakenly take a folder which does not belong to them. The folder I am requesting will benefit my students because they will have first grade resources inserted. Ten frames will be used by students during math.

Organization is the key to success-First graders need everything labeled to ensure quick access it and it is not misplaced!
