I am an ESL Specialist who serves 5 different grade levels (K-4). The colorful supplies will help color code each grade level so the students can find their books and supplies quickly.
My goal is to create an organized classroom to enable students to be responsible for their supplies.
I will assign a different color per grade level (example: kindergarten will be yellow). When the students come to class, they can grab their own supplies as they enter the room. This small step will help us be efficient with our time in the ESL classroom.
Some of the other supplies (ink, stapler, paper cutter, etc.) are to aid in the production of class books. Each week kindergarten and first grade students get their own book. The supplies are extremely needed and important to getting a book into each child's hands.
