My Students

The students in my classroom are a beautifully diverse combination of different cultures, socioeconomic statuses, and experiences. Together, we form the community that is our classroom.

Each of my students has an inspiring eagerness to learn, and an endlessly curious desire to experience new opportunities for learning.

Any chance my students get to try a new strategy or engage in a new project is one they seize with excitement! I hope to always find new, engaging, and opportunistic ways to increase student engagement and optimize learning potential!

My Project

Learning is valuable -- time spent looking for the things we need is time wasted. Students need to care about their space and work together to maintain it. Teaching can be messy, but our classroom doesn't need to be! By having an organized and orderly classroom my students can focus on their studies and easily access the things they need; inherently knowing exactly where to find any supply they are looking for! Also, applying their understanding of social and emotional learning, having empathy for others, taking care of themselves, and their space, and showing responsibility in their everyday classroom management.

Having our supplies orderly, organized, accessible and available allows my students to be ready for any learning opportunity; and gives us the chance to use every single minute of time we have together, to learn together.

This furniture and these supplies will be implemented in my entire classroom. Together, we will organize, and label our supplies and materials so students have buy-in and a vested interest in maintaining their classroom space!
