This initiative allows our students to feel the rhythm, experience music firsthand, and engage in creative expression.\r\n\r\nMusic plays a vital role in children's growth by enhancing their cognitive development, improving language skills, and boosting emotional well-being. Through music, students develop better concentration, memory, and coordination. It also encourages collaboration and communication, helping to build a supportive classroom community.\r\n\r\nYour funding fosters creativity, exploration, and a genuine love for the arts and music. Having a class set makes such a difference in creating a shared reading experience where every student can fully participate.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has given my students the opportunity to connect with engaging stories that inspire empathy, self-reflection, and laughter. The class was so quiet. It was wonderful. The headphones fit the students perfectly. My students were so happy to have headphones and ones that worked. They were immediately drawn to the vibrant Glam Pop Sharpies and ultra-fine tip dry erase markers—especially the ones in unique colors they hadn't used before. We use dry erase boards every day in math, and having a variety of ultra-fine tips has helped students organize their equations more clearly and take greater pride in their work. The permanent markers have been just as popular. We recently started a project-based learning unit where students designed science posters and visual vocabulary cards—projects that really came to life thanks to the bold colors and precision of the new markers.\r\n\r\nOne especially memorable moment was when a group of students used the assorted Sharpies to create timeline illustrations of Earth's systems in science class. Their creativity soared because they had the right tools to match their vision—no more asking if anyone had a working marker or settling for faded colors. Next, we'll be using the markers to create interactive math games and personalized displays for student-led conferences.
