Help me give my students a throwable mic, dry erase boards, craft trays, and other tools and supplies for engaging, hands-on activities in whole group and small group settings.

My Students

My full day kindergarten class is such a fun group of kind, gentle, encouraging little people. They love to come to school and are excited to learn especially when they have things they can touch and manipulate.

They understand the importance of being positive and cheering each other on to do their best.

These students have learned to give each other positive statements when they are struggling. I often hear students tell each other that "They can keep trying," or that they, "Just have not learned how to do that, yet." It is such an enriching experience to provide them with opportunities to learn about the world and see them enjoy their learning experiences.

My Project

Our classroom is a place of hands-on exploration! My students love to use as many of their senses as possible to explore as they learn. Imagine having a microphone that the students roll or throw to each other to encourage exciting discussions that everyone wants to participate in!

The materials will be used for both whole group activities and small group learning and exploration.

Our class will be able to use the craft supplies, letters, white boards and other tools for literacy activities during independent and teacher-led groups to practice their phonics skills and fine motor skills where each student can be working at their own level.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
