Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Books offer story time, classroom discussions, and opportunities to connect learning to their own lives and experiences. Many of my students are bilingual or are developing their English language skills, and they thrive when they have access to books that reflect their language and culture.

By adding Spanish books to our classroom library, my students will have meaningful opportunities to strengthen their literacy skills, build vocabulary, and develop confidence as readers.

These books will allow students to practice reading in their home language while also supporting comprehension and academic growth in English. Having access to engaging, culturally relevant books will help students feel represented, included, and excited about reading.

These resources will help create a classroom environment where all students can grow as confident readers and lifelong learners. Thank you for supporting my students and helping us build a classroom library that celebrates bilingual learning!
