My Project

Creating projects that emphasize using our hearts instead of our hands is a powerful way to celebrate both Black History and Valentine's Day. These projects serve as a culmination of themes centered around expression and helpfulness, fostering a sense of unity and compassion among students. It's crucial to instill the value that violence is never an acceptable option.

By incorporating diverse cultures into the curriculum, we provide students with a broader perspective that enhances their understanding of various customs and traditions.

This knowledge promotes empathy, helping both children and adults comprehend the reasons behind certain behaviors, ultimately fostering acceptance and unity within the school community.

In addition to traditional academic subjects, integrating multicultural history into our curriculum through books can contribute to creating a sense of caring and understanding. By exploring the rich tapestry of human history, students gain insights into the shared experiences and unique contributions of different cultures. This approach not only enriches the educational experience but also cultivates a community that values diversity, empathy, and mutual respect.
