This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Get us started with a working computer in our classroom.

There are 24 eager to learn Kindergarteners in our room.

They love learning. Our school is small; we all care about each other. There is a very good racial mix at our school. We are designated a PHBAO school which means we are Primarily Hispanic, Black, and Other.

My Project

Our class loves to go to the computer lab, but that is only for 45 minutes once a week. If we can be funded for a computer in our classroom we can all take turns using it to help us work on our reading and listening skills and look up information we want to learn about.

We used to have 3 computers in our room that students worked on all day long.

Those computers are so old they no longer work. With the funding of this computer in our classroom we can share it to help us with our learning in so many ways.
