Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This run club is designed to help students build healthy habits, stamina, and confidence through consistent movement and goal setting. Students meet regularly to run, track their progress, and encourage one another as they work toward personal fitness milestones. To keep students supported and engaged, we emphasize teamwork, perseverance, and celebrating personal growth. At the end of each semester, students are rewarded with a special celebratory event that includes a glow run and color run, giving them a fun and memorable way to recognize their hard work.

These end-of-semester celebrations provide students with meaningful, high-energy experiences that honor their commitment and progress throughout the year.

To make these events possible, I am requesting water bottles to keep students properly hydrated during physical activity, along with glow sticks for our glow run and color powder for our color run. These supplies will help create a safe, exciting, and inclusive celebration where students can take pride in their achievements while enjoying a fun, shared experience with their peers.
