On the Road to Build Good Character

My students need 6 different activities to use and play to build and review good character, and to be visually reminded by the use of the 4 poster sets.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help make our future leaders ones with good character! My students need the opportunity to build their character, know what good character is, and implement their good character in our school and their community.

My students attend a public school in Nevada.

They are considered to be in the low sociol-economic status and the majority are on free and reduced lunch. My students are wonderful, but their experiences are not so much due to the low-income of their families.

My Project

With the help of these resources in my classroom, my students will be able to view posters which are constant reminders of good character, how bullying effects others, self-esteem builders, and to be able to identify and understand their feelings. Also, they will be introduced to challenging activities and games to learn, understand, build, and eventually show their good character. I will be able to promote good character in my classroom in hopes that my students will share their knowledge with the rest of the school and our school and community will become a more positive environment.

My project is important because often times teaching the importance of good character is left out of the classroom, when actually it needs to be touched on daily.

My students need to understand the importance of good character and that having good character can carry them very far in life. I would like my students to leave my classroom with the confidence and self-esteem in themselves, the skills to make positive choices in their lives and help others when they are in need without being asked.
