My Project

I co-teach in two inclusion classrooms and support students who require special education services. My students range from mild to moderate diagnoses and are increasingly challenged to stay on task and organized in whole and small group environments.

My students deserve to have a structured and organized environment to focus on their goals and have the necessary supplies on hand to minimize distractions.

The timers and digital clock will help provide a visual reminder for when my students take breaks or need to know when to transition to the next activity. In addition, the stickers and lamination will help me create lasting visual reinforcements to motivate students to keep working and try their best. The book bins and caddies will help store the expo markers, base 10 manipulatives, and other supplies individualized for each student to practice their multisensory approach to English Language Arts and Mathematics easily within reach. The storage trays and under desk drawers will help organize worksheets and assessments that will also be individualized for each student's goals while the standing desk will allow me to be attentive to my students needs as I prep and collect data throughout the school day.
