My Students

My special education class consists of 6 bright, bold and brave students with differing abilities and strengths at a school located in the low-income and disadvantaged neighborhood of Jamaica, NY. My students are supported and encouraged every day to activate their prior knowledge and apply new knowledge in the classroom. And with all the academics and resources from our supportive DonorsChoose Team, we need classroom materials. I thank you for taking the time to read this post and hope it touches your heart to support my 6 bold, brave and bright students in the classroom setting.

My Project

The six tablets will be used to support our six visual and auditory learners on a individual and personalized basis . We use online platforms such vizzle , unique learning system and boom cards. When I announce to the class that it's time for an online brain break . They can choose from these programs to compete specific academic tasks aligned to their Individualized Education Plan. The safe box will be a station and house the tablet to charge and for safety. We humbly ask for your support. Thank you
