Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I funded school and my students don't have the same advantages at home as wealthier students do. I’m trying to bridge that gap in order to provide students with experiences they might otherwise miss.

My students are the best kids ever and they are thriving due to the support we are receiving from Donor's Choose!

My Project

We just learned last night at an emergency school board meeting that we are closing again. They say one week, but we all believe it will be more. These supplies will make students excited to get to work in our new format so that we can continue making the gains we have been making this year!!!

My students are 23 seven year olds (a few have recently turned 8!) who are loving school this year and who are learning to read and become independent math problem solvers.

They are highly motivated and cooperative and they deserve to enjoy these amazing supplies that I have selected for them!!!

I have pencil boxes already to put these supplies inside as well as student white boards!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
