Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have an enthusiastic class of 4th graders with various backgrounds and experiences. With their use of Chromebooks, students are learning to become tech savvy. Chromebooks are integrated on a daily basis with the goal of inviting discovery, collaboration, and innovation into the daily classroom. The use of mice will provide students with the hardware necessary to enhance their skills in learning programs, such as SketchUp. SketchUp teaches students the basics of 3D modeling, a skill that is much more accessible with the precision and functionality of a mouse. The use of a mouse will also allow students to collaborate in groups, utilize various resources, and give greater flexibility when giving presentations on their Chromebooks.
