My Project

These books and supplies will be used to get my students engaged in read aloud stories.

My students love to see themselves in books and enjoy creating projects centered around stories that are relevant to them.

By expanding my library, I will be able to offer my students a wider variety of books that showcase their culture.

It is my goal to have the students read the books and engage in a hands-on activity that showcases the themes in the stories.

I use culturally relevant books in the science classroom to tie scientific themes to my students' culture.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
