Novel Study Materials Needed

My students need books for a novel study to improve their love for reading! We need a class set of Lawn Boy. We also need high-interest books to pull in the children that are struggling in reading.

My Students

I teach reading in a Title I school. Most of my children have no books at home. In my classwork I provide a safe and loving environment so they can develop a love for reading.

The only books the students see are the ones I have in my classroom.

My students love books but they do not have the access they need to them. I want to provide a wide range of books so the students will develop a love for reading. My students are awesome kids they just need materials and support to achieve their goals.

My Project

These books were picked by my students. They are books that we do not have in our library and the students have an interests in reading them. We will use Lawn Boy for a novel study for the entire class. We will read it together and have discussions and projects.

The books we have chosen will make a difference because these are books the student have chosen and want to read.

My students come from low income families and are not accustom to getting things from others. They have been disappointed too many times in their young lives. If we can get this project funded it would mean the world to these kids.
